Where is Milvados Kampelis?

The homestead is in Milvydai village, Šalčininkai district (Milvydų g. 13, LT-17127) – about 50 km south-east of Vilnius, roughly an hour by car. Map and directions are on the contact page.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 12:00. If you'd like to arrive earlier or leave later, let us know and we'll do our best.

How many people can stay?

The cabin with the sauna comfortably holds up to 14 people, and there are 8 beds for overnight stays. On warm, sunny days, when life moves outdoors – to the gazebos, fire pit and pond – we can host a larger group. The homestead is rented to one group at a time.

Do we get the whole homestead to ourselves?

Yes. When you book, the whole 1-hectare property – the sauna cabin, hot tub, two gazebos, pond with footbridge and meadows – is yours alone; there are no other guests.

Is it open all year?

Yes, we welcome guests year-round. In winter the sauna and hot tub are at their coziest; in summer there's the pond, boat and fire pit.

Yes, pets are welcome – please just mention them when booking so we can prepare.

Is there a sauna and a hot tub?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have a traditional wood-fired Lithuanian sauna (pirtis) with birch-whisk treatments and an outdoor hot tub. We heat the sauna and the hot tub ourselves, so guests don't have to handle firewood or get dirty – you just enjoy them. Book in advance so everything is ready when you arrive.

Is the property private?

Yes – the 1-hectare homestead sits on the edge of a small village, surrounded by meadows and forest. The grounds are private, with no passers-by, and there are plenty of outdoor benches to relax on.

Is there water on the property?

Yes, there's a pond with a jetty and a rowing boat. In summer you can swim, row and simply relax on the shore.

No, fishing in the pond is not allowed. The pond is for swimming, rowing and relaxing on the shore.

Is there a kitchen, and where can we cook?

Yes – the cabin has an equipped kitchen with essential cookware and appliances. Outdoors there are two gazebos, one with a šašlykinė barbecue oven for grilling, plus a tandoor. For the evening, a fire pit with benches.

Do we need to bring firewood?

No – we take care of the firewood. We heat the sauna and hot tub ourselves, and wood for the fire pit is ready on site.

We don't serve meals – guests cook in the cabin kitchens or over the fire. We're happy to suggest where to buy food or order nearby.

Can we celebrate a birthday or other occasion?

Yes, family and friends' celebrations are welcome: up to 14 people indoors, and in the warm season the party naturally spreads to the gazebos, fire pit and pond.

Is there anything for children?

Yes – swings, carousels, big lawns, a hammock, the boat, the footbridge over the pond, the fire pit, and in winter the sauna and snow. Children rarely get bored here.

Outdoor volleyball and basketball courts, a foot-therapy path, swimming in the pond and rowing.
